Henelle is designed by Henny Le Tailleur, a Fashion Director, Stylist and journalist originally from London.

I’ve always had a love of prints and patterns, but this is the first time I have created any. I moved to California 8 years ago and it’s been a rollercoaster ride; throughout the darkest moments and most exciting times, California’s consistently breath taking views have been a true comfort and inspiration. The crashing Ocean waves, the tallest palms, the magical Joshua Trees, the delicate orange poppies in Spring, the jagged rocks at Death Valley.

I started taking pictures a few years ago and wanted to make them into prints and designs that really reflect the California landscape and living here. Most of my designs are fully based on nature and California’s national parks; but some of my humor has started to creep in with my newest designs The Beverly Hills and The Weed series.

The candles bring scent into these designs. Smell is such a powerful sense and I created scents in keeping with the place. The print is featured on a label around the jar to literally light up the design.

I hope you all enjoy

Much Love
